Rico has won another Best of Breed at the first day show at the Finnish Winner weekend - congrats and thanks to team Velvetdandys for all the hard work and to breeder Mieke!

Victor (Su Ch Riogaioch VelvetDandys Orlock) won 1st Open Dog at LKA championship show today qualifying for his KC Stud Book Number - congrats and thanks to Breeder/co-owner Suz Pirrie and co-owner Veronica!

In Sweden the lovely Ch Orlock Muntenia won BEST in SHOW Progeny group at Sofeiro SKK International Show. Many congratulations to Team Velvet Dandys! Our Pizzirico v Tani Kazari was Best of Breed and 4th Best in Group too!!

We also heard the news that Letti (Ultraviolet on Orlock) has had official confirmation of her Austrian Junior Champion title! Well Done to owner Fritzi.

At the Welsh Kennel Club Riogaioch Voo Doo at Orlock (Mira - bred and co-owned by Suz Pirrie) won BOB and BCC giving her the all important 3rd CC!! DCC was won by Orlock Repelli (Co-owned with Ros Brakes) - his second CC. Our little 10 month old Katie (Orlock Vampire Kisses won RBCC and Best Puppy Bitch) with Leanrok Strike Up the Band (Colin - co-owned with Ros) winning Best Puppy in Breed. A lovely day - worth the 8 hour round trip to Buillth Wells in Wales:)

At Paignton I had the pleasure of handling Orlock Angel with Blewgould to his First DCC (ow. Pam Gould) with Riogaioch Voo Doo at Orlock (Mira) winning RBCC (breeder/co-owner Suz Pirrie).

Colin (Leanrok Strike up the Band) won Best Puppy Dog (handled as always by co-owner Ros Brakes) with Riogaioch MoneyPenny (daughter of Orlock Marius) pipping him for Best Puppy in Breed - Many Congrats Nerys and Suz :)

Well done also to Mazda and Hannah for getting placed in a very competitive class at their very first show!

Suzanne, Ruairi and I had a lovely time at the World Show in Denmark. On Saturday we had the pleasure to see our "Grandaffen" Dandi (VelvetDandys Dipsy - Orlock Darvell x Orlock Muntenia) winning BM, CAC, BOB and BIS at the Danish Pinscher Schnauzer circuit show.

At the World show on Sunday, Our lovely Lucas (Underworld Velvetdandys - cobred with Veronica and Barbara) won the Junior World Title 2010 - congrats to owners Grete and Gunnar! Many congrats also to Veronica and Maria winning the World Winner title 2010 with our other Grandaffen Dilba (VD Upsy Daisy, another child of Orlock Muntenia) and again Dandi winning BM2 and RCACIB!

An unforgetable weekend! Pizzirico v Tani Kazari has won Best in Group 2 and Reserve Best in Show at the SKK International Show in Norrkoping. This is the highest ever show placing for an Affenpinscher in Sweden. What an amazing result! A real pleasure to share it with his Breeder Mieke Coojmans and his co-owner and handler Veronica Lange (and the rest of the Velvet Dandy's team!)

Also congrats to Suzanne with Riogaioch Catch me if you can (Sassie) winning Best Puppy Bitch in Breed and her sister R Miss Moneypenny (Nerys) winning Minor Puppy Bitch Class. Both lovelies are daughters of Orlock Marius.

Another BOB and BIS4 for Velvet Dandy's Austin (O Darvell x O Muntenia) winning at Norrkoping Show in Sweden. Congrats to Team Velvet Dandy!

We had a great day today at Bath Canine Society winning Best of Breed and Best Puppy with 10 month old Leanrok Strike Up the Band (Colin). Colin is from the a litter we co-bred and co-owned with Ros Brakes and the first showdog to carry our joint Leanrok Affix.

Orlock Repelli (Peli) (co-owned with Ros) won Reserve Best Dog, Orlock Morbius (Raul) won Junior Dog. Orlock Nocturna (Turna) won Best Puppy Bitch and Orlock Vampire Kisses (Katie) won the puppy bitch class. We are hoping for some photos soon!

A while since we last updated but we have had so much going on.

In April we had a litter consisting of one lovely girl, O Morbius' (Raul) first daughter, Orlock Guilty Pleasures (Zsa Zsa) (photo at 7 weeks below)

At the beginning of May we attended Birmingham National Show winning 3 1st placing with Leanrok Strike Up the Band (Colin) co-owned with Ros Brakes winning Puppy Dog, Orlock Morbius (Raul) winning Junior dog and Orlock Repelli (Peli) again co-owned by Ros winning Limit Dog.

During May we have been very involved with organising the inaugural meeting of the Mexican Hairless (xoloitzcuintli) Club (proposed) and had a very good turn out at the meeting.

Today we are awaiting our new Griffon Bruxellois Girl, Inras Blues Maiden (Meja) who will be flying in from Sweden shortly!! We are so excited and very grateful to Ingrid for sending her to us. She is grandaughter and great-grandaughter to our dogs and very much hope to start showing her during the summer.

Finally Huge congratulations to our "grandpups" Austin and Dandi who have been doing great things in Sweden and USA with many BOB's. Group placings and Group wins. Congratulations to Velvet Dandy's Kennel on breeding these lovely boys.

We have had a lovely few days with Orlock Marius and Orlock After Dark at Brandugh winning Open and Puppy Classes at Maidenhead Show, Orlock Angel with Blewgould winning BOB at Ilfracombe Show here in the UK, Lucas winning CAC and BOB in Norway and of course our "Grandaffen" VelvetDandy's Dipsy (Orlock Darvell x Orlock Muntenia) winning the Award of Merit at the famous Westminster Show in New York!

Many congratulations to all the friends and owners doing so well with our dogs around the world!

Also congratulations to Veronica & Maria on winning Swedish titles with the lovely "grandaffens" Dilba and Madicken!

Rico has another great win in Sweden winning BOB, BM1 and CACIB at the SKK International "My Dog" show in Goteburg. Even better news with little baby lukas winning CERT & BM2 at his first international show! Lukas (aka Underworld VelvetDandy) was co-bred with Veronica (VelvetDandy's Kennel in Sweden) and Barbara (Black Forest Kennel in USA) and has a truly international pedigree. Congrats to his owners Grete and Gunnar in Norway! We hope for some photos soon.
