We have had a busy month!

Great news with Mimi (Mimosa of Riogaioch) jointly bred by Suzanne Pirrie (Riogaioch) and myself being scored as LH6:RH6 total 12 on the BVA/KC hip scoring Scheme and Christabel (Orlock Christabel with Riogaioch) scored as LH5:RH5 total 10

Little Glory from our last litter has now travelled over to Sweden - check her out in her new home - www.caudatus.net - good luck to Susanne and Maria!

Andrew took on his first ever judging appointment in Affenpinschers (14 entered) on the 13th April and made Winterkloud Alula Borealis for Beaudiddley Best of Breed - congrats to Owner Alison Barnsby. She is litter sister to Winterkloud Freja who is doing so well in Sweden at the moment.

We have had a new additions to the Orlock kennel - Nora bred by Toni Teasdale is now resident and jointly owned by Suzanne and myself. Look out for her page coming soon.

We have had a second litter from our US import - Johnny (Am Ch Black Forest Tajar Walk the Line to Orlock) out of our gorgeous Orlock Walachia (Neila) - 4 boys and 2 girls. We cant wait to see how they turn out. - litter page will be complete soon.

We had a lovely time at Crufts winning Limit bitch, Bitch Challenge Certificate and Best Bitch with Mojy and 2nd in Open bitch with Neila. Sorry no photos - too busy! If anybody out there took some photos please get in touch as we would love to have a copy.

At the Affenpinscher club open show under Judge Frank Kane on 10th February 2008, Orlock Kennel had a fantastic day. We won Best in Show with Orlock Carpathia (Mojy), Best Puppy in Show with Riogaioch Voo Doo at Orlock (Mira) and Best Opposite Sex Puppy with Orlock Marius (Marius). Other wins included 1st Open Bitch with Orlock Walachia (Neila) and 3rd Open Bitch with our import Bitch Am Ch Black Forest Tajar Naria at Orlock (Polly). There was an excellent entry with over 120 dogs entered making the wins even sweeter!

The photos shows Orlock Carpathia (BIS) on the Left with Riogaioch Voo Doo at Orlock (BPIS) with her breeder Mrs Suzanne Pirrie.

Our Swedish friends Veronica and Suzanne were over for the weekend for the show doing a great job grooming dogs and taking photos. Veronica has taken home the latest star from the three kennels - Victor - otherwise known as Riogaioch Velvetdandys Orlock (Ch Tonsarne I Claudius JW x Ch Riogaioch Illusion JW). We hope this beautiful puppy lives up to his superstar potential in Sweden.

We will try to update the website a little more often keeping it up to date. I plan to update a few of the dog pages with more info so keep checking.
